Pictures from the 7th Annual ACT Whitcomb Land Walk Sunday February 3, 2013.
Thanks to Jim Snyder Grant for again leading the group and provding interesting insights about the area. This year we took a new route, traveling first through the Captain Sargeant Land in Stow, and then to a marvelous walk along the Heat Hen Meadow Brook. We again saw plenty of beaver activity, including a "lawn" of saplings all trimmed to about 1 foot from the ground. Like a giant mower for trees!
Our second year without snow..... Little did we know what was coming in a less than a week!
