Presentation to the  Acton Board of Selectman

As the Trust takes succeeds in holding conservation restrictions it also takes on the  task of documenting and monitoring those restricitons.  In addition  we must account for potential legal challenges if there is a dispute bewteen current or future landowners and the terms of the restriction.  Since the Town will be the donor of conservation restricitons on land purchased with Community Preservation funds, they also will have the reposnsiblity for funding the CR documentation and monitoring process.  In preparation for this, ACT trustee and Clerk, David Hardt made this presentaiton to the Acton Board of Selectmen to outline the cost of this activity.
